I think it would be really cool if we could get a route form the NKP set in the last days of steam. It would also be nice to have a definitive route that we can run the Berkshires on (maybe throw in a Hudson or an Alco PA unit too).
Ooh. This is nice. If both routes get made, and are done correctly, your suggested Ft. Wayne to Bellevue route could get merged with this one for even more variety. Yet another solid YES. Edit: Changed"...ge merged... to "...get merged..." Edit 2: Changed "...ad are done..." to "...and are done..."
I'm just going from oldest to newest with my forum surfing. Instantaneous edit: Can't say I'm dissapointed either. Your suggestions are honestly underrated and don't get the attention they deserve at times.
Well, that explains it. Thanks for bumping some of my older proposals and shedding some new light on them!
NKP is a railroad that is seriously needed to be featured in TS2020. I'd prefer the transition era of the late 1940s to the 50s. We need a 2-8-4 Berkshire, Alco PA, and maybe a GP7/9.
I'm honestly surprised NKP 211 hasn't yet had the final steps taken to get it fully Amtrak certified. All it needs are the M.U. ports and marker lights installed on both ends, and there ya go, a fully Amtrak certified New York, Chicago and St. Louis passenger car, ready to possibly go out on excursions and the like on the mainline. Granted, the Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society HAVE taken VERY good care of it and the other passenger cars they own, especially seeing as to how they're apparently stored outside at Steamtown for the most part, so credit where credit is due.
Oh I just noticed that the photo you used in this shows 757 and two of her sisters just sitting at Bellevue. Nice.
