Experience City Transit Regional Express And High Speed Intercity With TSW2 Koln To Koblenz The West Rhine railway (German: Linke Rheinstrecke, literally 'left (bank of the) Rhine route') is a famously picturesque, double-track electrified railway line running for almost 100 km from Cologne via Bonn, Koblenz, THE LOCOMOTIVES a returning locomotive the br db 146.2 in DB red traffic livery these run up to 144 RE services across the route the br db 101 is a express locomotive running IC services across the route they run up to 115 services across the route the db br 361 these shunt the IC and RE coaches these run 21 freight services the br db 155 will be running containers from koln to koblenz back and forth these run 39 services and with layering it increases the already busy railway even more db br 143: substituting for the br 146.2 db br 363 and db br 204 substituting the db br 361 the db br 182 and 185.2(MCRE) and 185.2 (Railion) and the DB version: all substituting for the db br 155 the 767.2 and 766.2 running services ONLY from Koblenz to Koln running 72 services the db br 425 substituting for RE services the DB ICE 3M or ICE 3 substituting for the IC services i will not be incuding S bahn trains as i have no idea if s bahn trains run on the Koln - Koblenz route this is a nice addition to the game which will really enhance the game with German city and valleys
I have suggested this route earlier, and it would be awesome to see this in TSW2. I definitely support this proposal.
I‘ve been thinking about proposing some part of the Rheinstrecke for some time now. You‘ve got my support Yes, please
Yes please this route is beautiful in TS and will be a great addition to TSW2 also. One of my favourite German routes in TS this definitely gets a thumbs up from me. Only concern I have though is that Köln is already represented in the game and would they go back to Köln so quickly after Köln-Aachen route. The length fits perfectly into what dtg are doing would be shorter than the Marseille-Avignon route. Yes please with this route great suggestion.
I like the route but i would like it to see the new RRX Trains. They drive on the RE5 from Wesel to Koblenz via Cologne and Düsseldorf.
One of the most picturesque routes in Germany (Cliffs! Castles! The Rhine!), and the core of the old Rheingold luxury express route.
Like the route, would add different rolling stock such as the new RRX sets or an ICE 1/2 (I believe they run there, not an expert) and a new freight loco (DB BR 151?). The BR 101, 146, 185 (DB and MRCE), 155, 182 (DB and the announced MRCE one), 143, 363, 204 and maybe the ICE 3 could be used as layers (or maybe just replacing different services). Very nice route though!
We definitely need this route, because I am using it very often between Bonn Bad Godesberg and Köln Messe/Deutz, I don't care how long it is, I only want to go on it, because on TS it is good but TSW is more fun to play
There are no S Bahn lines, only an S Bahn lines that goes from Bonn to Euskirchen, but that route doesn't run on there, then there is a line between Bonn HBF and a little farther from Bonn Mehlem, there runs a Br620
Are you sure it would be the 425? It's expressly an S-bahn EMU, limited to 140 km/h. I would think the Talent 2 more likely (it actually does run regular RB/RE services). Moreover, users already own the Talent 2 because SKA is part of the base game.
Hey, I linked your suggestion in my map of the Ruhr and Surrounding Area Rail Network Map, hope you don't mind. It's a map that visualizes the "missing links" in the current Ruhr Rail Network. Do you mind if I make my own suggestion on this route in the future? I'd like to add a little more detail.
There is something missing DB Class 189 C-Akv Couplers complete with Faals Ore Wagons those are the Rotterdam-Emmerich-Köln-Bonn-Dillengen Heavy Trains. http://www.railfaneurope.net/pix_frameset.html Those will require a special scenario on how to couple them because most European trains use buffer and chain couplers unlike North America South Africa New Zealand Australia United Kingdom passenger coaches if equipped use automatic couplers AAR Type. One of the Scenarios should be titled Iron Rhine where you actually operate the inbound Ore Train Rotterdam Dillengen at Köln Koblenz. Where another driver takes it to Dillengen from Koblenz that's where the player drops out.
I also love the Br147 because it's very new but sadly it doesn't run on the route and also the Br146.2 doesn't run on it, only the RRX trains run there
Excellent route, especially the DB BR 101 with the IC coaches. Also, InterCity trains are usually 7 to 11 coaches long, depending on the route.
Yes, driving with the 101 between Köln and Koblenz would be a dream! It could be layered in easily. DTG made Cologne-Koblenz for TS, right? So chances are good we'll see this route in TSW again as DTG rebuild the TS routes at the moment due to the pandemic. Out of all german suggestions I hope cologne-koblenz makes it to the roadmap Many locos could be reused / layered in and Cologne Main Station is already in the game.
Excellent suggestion, especially with the DB BR 101 hauling the InterCity 1st Class and 2nd Class Coaches. I think the coaches that will be hauled by the BR 101 will most likely be the Eurofima or modernised m-Wagen coaches . Below you can see the most common types of these coaches: Bpmmz 284 2nd class open coach Bpmmdz 285 2nd class open coach with bike storage Avmmz 106 1st class compartment coach with reduced number of compartments Apmmz 126 1st class open coach Bvmkz 856 2nd class compartment coach with bistro IC Restaurant Coach:
I think a fun addition would be the cologne airport branch. The route would bring the 423 with the old(correct) interior to the game. Also 425 could substitute for the rb 27.
Are you referring to the actual 423 used by S-Bahn Köln. If You are paying close attention to Matt's New Journey stream the DB BR423 existing S-Bahn Köln is reskinned from Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg Stream 1:30:00-1:40:00 exact moment is 1:33:10-1:34:00 is when they're talking about the interior being a refurbished DB BR423 S-Bahn München version. If DTG makes that they are simply going to paste the existing 423 there.
