PlayStation Tsw Mastery

Happy Tuesday everyone,

I was just curious, has DTG explained what the TSW Mastery Feature on the roadmap actually is/does?

 

Maybe there will be some explanation during todays stream.

Edit: In TSW 2020 that wasn't consistently working, so most people probably forgot about that ... (including me ^^)

 

If you have tsw 1, its similar to that

 

So like leveling up your locomotive by driving it?

 

More like enabling some eye candy.

 

Doesn't it add overlays? In the menu there is a Configure Overlays section. You will be able to unlock in-game rewards with mastery. I think that's how it works. Extra scenery in routes, different menu location like a depot, alternate station etc...

Ive kinda messed it up already, since im already on driver level 282

 

There was a list of assigned tasks for each overlay. I thought the overlays were quite nice, but the tasks seemed to have been hurriedly done and were not as well thought out as they might have been. My recollection is -- although I don't recall for sure -- that if a task was something you had already completed, it was your hard luck and you had to do them again. That was fatuous.

I'm sure this lot will put more care into the task.

You complete a certain number of things in the game and get rewards for doing it. The rewards are scenery items in the routes and some extra stickers for livery editor. It will be on the three core routes of TSW2 and you shouldn’t have to go back and do tutorials again to unlock things like in TSW2020 if you’ve already done them, it works a bit differently this time. That’s what Adam said in the live stream tonight.
