Does anyone feel there's barely any red or amber signals? Especially on the East Coastway DLC. It kind of decreases the realism. Does anybody know how to change this to make it more effective?

Red & Yellow signals usually appear because of another train being in front of you. The signal block will clear after the train in front leaves the signal block. The reason you don't see many of them is because of the lack of trains/services on the route.

Bakerloo is a different story, there are unessacary reds because it will only turn green after the doors close (inaccurate)

No, you can't change this. Only DTG can by adding more services or implementing the real-life timetable. And if the IRL timetable has that many gaps in service, then it should be like that in-game. You're the best bet for getting actual reds/yellows is by getting the Bakerloo Line when they give us the full timetable.

Hopefully, if they add more frequent service routes, this will be fixed.

I'm pretty sure the timetable for ECW is the same as in real life (minus the services that run through Lewes platforms 1 and 2 to Eastbourne). So definitely the stretch of line between Brighton and Seaford should have the same amount of cautionary aspects as it would do in real life.

As an aside, it would be nice to have the Eastbourne to London trains added in game as that would make the Eastbourne end of the line a bit busier.

There is such a lack of interactions with signals on the U.K. routes they almost seem a waste of time tbh, there certainly needs to be more reds to keep the player on their toes

Some routes aren't super busy because that's just the way they are in reality, but I wish dovetail would make the timetable more interactive.

Some services to Seaford get a red signal after Eastburne to give way to a train coming from Eastbourne.

In Penninsula Corridor you’ll run into a number of red signals if you play the long distance freight services. Even under the speed limit you’ll catch up to commuter trains stopping at every station.

Just to sum it up, there are only few scenarios and timetable services who qualify for that: 7 services for the GP38-2 and 4 for the MP15DC.
I didn't play the MP15DC services yet, so I don't know if there are really red signals that slow you down.
