I think it is supposed to mean that there will be 2 timetables. The current one we have (HST, 166, 66) and this 1970s style one. Well, at least that is what I think this means. Anyhow, it is really exciting!

Ah so basically if I choose a loco from said pack there won't be any modern trains and vice versa? That would make sense. Though isn't the setting on GWE too modern for these trains? I am not from the UK so I have absolutely limited knwoledge in that regard.

Soooo, Class 35s, 42/43 (Hydraulics), 47s, 50s, 52s, HSTs and Mk1s and Mk2a/b cover that era, so the question is will there be something new or will it be a few somethings borrowed that are all something blue?

Sorry for my awful marriage puns there.

That made me do a double-take, the guy I go spotting with has the same name as you.

We know Class 52 is one of them, as for the rest we'll wait and see. A BR Blue HST would be cool though, not sure how prevalent they were in the area at that time but would be awesome to see nonetheless.

Edit: Also should this thread be merged with the other one?

Not having any clue about British trains, could this pack include a class 42 or did they not run there?

It could, as they were stored at Old Oak Common Depot near Paddington.
