Was just wondering what this bit meant on the roadmap. Is it a solution to the layers issue in that you can determine which you want to run, or is this something completely different?

most likely to be a feature where the timetable switches depending on which era loco you use. So driving the class 66 gives you the modern timetable, driving any of the locos of this pack lets you drive in a timetable where only appropriate locos from that period run. Other than that we need to wait for more details.

Hmm. Given GWE is a modern route I'd have assumed this would be more railtour focussed, so that hadn't crossed my mind.

Oh, hadn't thought of it being railtour based. That would make sense. If it is Railtour based then I hope that we get a livery version without the Railtour markings. I'd probably then run it on one of the 80s-based routes.

edit: Or run it on GWE.

There's no appropriate 80s routes to run them on - they're both in the north ;)

I imagine it'll be the locos in BR Blue with blue/grey or maroon coaches. Of course that's completely baseless speculation and I imagine people who do know what it includes are laughing at me.

    I'll decide what's appropriate, thank you ;)
