So, you press a button, and it pops up with the schedule for what's happening in the next 10 or 15 minutes at the current station. Obviously this would be much more relevant if you're on foot.
I know Bakerloo has signs (idk about any others since I haven't played others) that tells you when the next train is coming. It would be helpful on SPG so when you are walking around on foot looking around and you decide you want to run a service, you would then be ale to see what the next service is and jump on that one, rather than jumping from cab to cab seeing which one starts first.
Thanks for the replies. But as you say not all routes have it. Also, as well as the information signs on each platform, real-world stations tend to also have boards up showing upcoming departures on all platforms (so that you can see which platform you need for example). This would be useful in game for similar reasons, with the added benefit that you could jump on a service and drive it if you felt like it. I realise that helpful people have created PDF timetables for a lot of the routes now, and this would serve a similar purpose. Thanks.
