Don't know if this is possible but could there be like an informative score at the end of each journey which you could compare with say people in your own region and then say global? I had a game a few years ago which featured this and it give the game a little bit of replayability and the wish to improve. It could include scores for time, stopping on platform, smoothness, etc.
Some sort of in-game feed showing what your friends have done, any milestones reached would be nice. I think a global scoreboard would easily be exploited (like someone going up and down the same section to get more action points). Friends could be ones on Dovetail Live combined with friends on your platform friends list.
