Anyone who can help me with this loco? I accelerate to the right speed and when I use the brakes and want to accelerate again it does not accelerate at all. And also I had another problem after reaching 80 km/h the brakes does not work. The loco just keep on accelerating. And the loco does not seem to have cruise control either. I'm playing on 64-bit. Maybe I should try on 32-bit and see if it helps?
The loco does not have Cruise Control and you have to drive it. You can not use the HUD to drive it but use the Keyboard Changing from 64 to 32 won't make a difference to how it operates
First off, I sincerely apologize if this is necrobumping, but this seems the only thread on this loco in the history of this forum so I thought it might not fall into that category here. Humbly sorry and won't do it again if so. Now, I've recently got this locomotive and yes, it's a real effort to drive and an interesting challenge. There's a few things bothering me about it, as the manual is far from comprehensive and my Slovene is elementary. The main thing I'm troubled by is the clicking. I know a little of this is a feature in older electric locos, but is it normal? Am I driving it wrong when I hear that? It doesn't start until I reach a few kp/h so it always feels like I've set something incorrectly. If anyone is familiar and wants to offer some tips on this and other specifics of this machine, I'm all ears.
I've noticed the clicking in various Youtube videos, so I assume it's a deliberate feature of the loco. I've no idea what it is in real life. Have you asked RSSLO?
The locos are fitted with a Mechanical Speed Recorder - a Hasler I think that is the clicking noise you are hearing Have a look at this and see if the sound is what you hear -
Superb, that's the one. Well, I guess this has been an educational experience for me about how irritating it must be to drive this thing.
I don't like the Hasler Speedo sound either so Go in to \railworks\Assets\RSSLO\SZ363\RailVehicles\Sound\Inside\Sounds You will find two files Halser_Clock.dav and Hasler.dav rename these files to Halser_Clock.dav.old and Hasler.dav.old then try the loco Peter
Brilliant, you're a great help! Will give it a go later. Love the pics of my beloved Tatras in Prague btw, Peter!
I have done quite a few trips to the Czech railways - quite enjoyable with very friendly people https://peter749.piwigo.com/picture?/31688/category/339-august_2009
