Hi all, as the thread title suggests, I have a couple of queries regarding the DTG Class 455/8.
Firstly, I'm currently creating a scenario with the Southern 455 using an 8 car set which requires a detachment en route, however there seems to be no way of uncoupling one unit from another. I noticed in the manual that if you press Shift+CTRL+C, you can couple, so I'm guessing that's also the way to uncouple a unit?
Second question regarding the SWT Class 455 which comes with the PDL add on, is there any way to change the "via" destination blind when in quick drive?
Thanks in advance for any help

When you want to uncouple you use the mouse
In the F3 or F4 HUD click on the Couple button and a graphic on the train appears at the bottom and you click where you wish to divide the train
Alternatively click on the section between the sets and the mouse symbol should change to a couple/uncouple icon.

Forgot to mention the uncouple button on the HUD is greyed out when driving an 8 car 455 consist so that doesn't work.

    Just checked this out...
As a player you cannot unhitch the second 4 car train of an 8 car consist, but then again it never stands still either. Even at rest on full brake app on a level surface it keeps inching forward. As a special test I made a non-player consist and told it to drop off the last four cars and the AI did it perfectly. Looks like the player controls just weren't programmed.
I tried via the HUD (F4 type) and also by clicking on the coupler in free camera view

I also tried it with the 455/8 in SWT colours. That works fine. Stands still an uncouples like a good train...

Thanks for that. Seems as though my scenario idea might have to be put on hold for now or swap out the stock for something I can split (such as two AP 456's and a 455). Although I'm not sure whether attaching the rear portion at the start of the scenario could be a workaround?
Any idea on whether the SWT 455's via destination blind can be changed via the keyboard?
