Amtrak | Washington Dc - Baltimore

Read Last Line Of Text. An Amtrak Route from NYP to DC would be nice to see in the game, maybe with some New Jersey Transit AI.

The Route would include the Acela, Avelia, and the ACS-64.




Edit: Maybe it’ll be better to remake the DC-Baltimore Route from TS2021.

 

We barley got DC to Baltimore and Philadelphia to NYC in TS 2020, I doubt the full length would ever be featured in TSW2.

Maybe in 3 segments (DC - Baltimore, Baltimore - Philadelphia, Philadelphia - NYC) but not all at once.

 

Yeah, I was just now thinking about reforming this suggestion to only DC-Baltimore after seeing the TS2021 announcement.

 

I have a special connection in my heart to this section of the Northeast Corridor, especially the Acela, so I would love to have one of my favorite childhood travels in the game

 

I prefer Boston to Providence.

 

They won’t add the avelia liberty train because it’s brand new and there’s not that much info on it as so right now

 

Boston to providence would be awesome I hope they are working on Boston to providence for train sim world 2 hopefully I can drive it someday soon on train sim world 2.

This would be a cool idea since they got the Amtrak license and we could use some love for Amtrak. Although I doubt a route from New York Penn Station to Washington D.C Union Station would be made. Maybe it can be done in segments as a compromise like in ts2021 and then combine it to get one full route. I doubt the Amtrak Aveila Liberty would come since it's a new train but it would be cool to finally get the Amtrak Acela

Now we just need to sell the suggestion to dtg so they can make it lol. There really needs to be more american routes, especially american passenger routes

 

Maybe they already are making another Amtrak route... or NYC Subway

 

NYC subway would be cool but I don't know if they could perfectly nail a nyc subway route in terms of sound and atmosphere just like they couldn't nail that with the Bakerloo Line

 

An NYC Subway route with no track noise would make me start a war. An NYC Subway route with incorrect traction motor noise would make the purge commence.

Ehh, growing up in NYC, I love the Subways, I actually want NYC Subway in the game, but I'll take some commuter rail/high-speed routes around the city.
