I was thinking have anyone ever seen AI driving DB BR182 with freight in RSN/MSB/RRO/HRR or SKA? I only see AI driving 143/155/185 freight trains. I own the DB BR182 DLC and I can drive the 182 myself with freight on those routes.

I used to see it a bit more often before buying the BR155, but I can still catch it from time to time.

I guess it's by design given the fact the BR182 is less used than the 155 and 185, but I'm not too sure...

And the fact that there are only about 25 182s in DBs fleet.

Out of curiosity, where else do the 182s run in Germany? I know some run on the Leipzig S-bahn line and others do freight runs. Not sure where else the 182s do inter-city services in the country.

I don't know about the 182s, they don't seem to get much use except freights into Austria.
Intercity is all 146.2s and 147s.

The new DB Class 102s from Skoda seem to be taking up the role the 182s were intended for.

In addition: most of them are in use for EMU replacement services in regional traffic, mainly throughout former East Germany. They are not in use for IC services but their austrian siblings for some EC lines out of Austria, the 1116 of the ÖBB.

Small correction: only the newer IC2 services with their Dosto cars are equipped with them, the 'classic' IC run with the 101 :)
