It appears to be impossible to obtain a gold medal on the Tees Valley Line Three Becomes Two scenario with the Class 08. Having completed the scenario without speeding and only missing 9 points due to stopping distance I received 8,761 points. The attached image is combined from screenshots of the schedule just before completing the scenario. The medal points are: Bronze: 5,750 Silver: 8,600 Gold: 9,200 According to the schedule there is a total of 7,250 points from completing objectives. Meaning I received 1,520 points from driving under the speed limit. It is possible you receive points from completing the final objective of walking over to the shed, I do not remember. It does not seem likely that I missed out on 500 driving points by successfully completing the scenario. So is it possible to get a gold medal without just driving around needlessly?
I had a similar score last night, a faultless run doomed by faint praise. At least I can stop wondering what I did wrong and I don't have to do it again. Thanks for bringing it up.
Would it be possible to get gold by driving around and collecting per 30 points for driving under the speed limit? Or the points are not awarded for driving around?
Hello, just wanted to let you all know that driving around the yard between two tasks is awarding you with 30 points for driving under the speed limit. Here is my gold medal
