I dont think there is really a best, all three should perform the same as they are all the same locomotive. The only real difference is the road specific details... There also might be sound differences but I haven't looked into that. The CSX version has a nose mounted light and its ditch lights are mounted on top of the anticlimber, and the horn is located on the long hood The cab features a digital speedometer. The UP version has a roof mounted headlight, ditchlights slightly lower than the CSX version, and the horn is mounted up front too, The cab features an analog speedometer. The CN Version has a nose mounted light, but its ditchlights are mounted higher than the CSX one, The front also has marker lights. The loco itself lacks dynamic brakes. The Cab has extra controls for the marker lights.
Thanks a lot for all the info. Appreciate you taking the time and effort to answering my question. Do you have a favourite? Judging by the images, I would say the CN one. The livery, more buttons and probs best sounds (newest release). 6 sweet look'n analog gauges, including an AFM indicator and an extra brake gauge it seems like. Plus the classification lights, only downside is no dynamic brake.
CSX you can paint yourself. CN is the best route (Oakville Sub), UP is from a terrible line (Peninsula Corridor) so I say CN is the go to.
