Why an NYC Subway Route should be made for TSW 2. It is extremely popular, and would almost be a missed opportunity to make more profit by creating the route. Start with the 7, L, or Staten Island Railway.
I like the idea of the nyc subway, but not the staten island railway. It's an isolated railway in the forgotten borough of staten island and is a railway, not a subway. It's pretty much an american version of isle of wright and simply would not capture the feel of the nyc subway even though the sir is not a subway. If dtg ever made the sir, I simply would not buy it
Then they start with the 7 or L, they definitely aren’t starting with a Trunk Line like the Seventh Ave or Lexington Ave Lines. I think they’ll mess up with the Local/Express service, and I don’t want the first NYC Subway route to look horrible to outsiders. I don’t really like the SIR myself, I just want them to go for something much easier than something like the N/Q/R/W. Kinda like what they did with the Bakerloo, go for an isolated line and see how that does, then do the more ambitious projects.
Yeh but if your trying to capture the feel of the nyc subway, the SIR (a railway not a subway) is simply not the place to start. The Bakerloo line can feel more busy if they added the extra services and increased passenger numbers in stations and let's be honest, most of the deep tube lines are isolated in some way, shape and form. The 7 train or the L train might be a better place to start
Then they could do the 7. DTG, don’t forget the Countdown Clocks, Express Services, Super-Express Services, Train Of Many Colors, or the R188.
They should add a line like what they did with the LIRR, because since the LIRR and NYC Subway have so many line, they should just at least add one line for the NYC Subway.
They should also add either the Q or the N line because I take the N and Q train to trade school, well I can’t right now because of Covid.
I would want them to do the whole Broadway Line (N/Q/R/W). Then you could have “frequent” Express & Local trains flying by stations like 28 St.
