    Hello!
Is there a tutorial on how to change locos in a scenario, please?
I'm asking because I have got the WSR route and now the Western Diesel pack.
I'd like to run the Westerns on the WSR without just using quick drive.
    Cheers,
    Colin

    Or you can use RWtools/TStools

^^^^This. It's much better than messing around in TS's scenario editor. There is a learning curve involved with using TSTools, but well worth the time investment.

    Upside to TStools -
if you want to swap out all assets in a scenario you can (so all 47s for 66s as an example)
You can use the search function to look for relevant consists by type (so diesel, electric etc)
You can renumber, change from career to standard etc

    Upside to Editor -
Once you've swapped the consist remove and re-add the endpoint of the player consist and it will remap ALL of the timings and show errors.
You can add or remove waypoints etc more easily

The method Matt explains only works if you have the original engine in any scenario on any route.
It does not work if you are trying to replace a loco/unit you don't have

The other method which works (mostly) is to edit the scenario files directly but that takes a bit of "knowing what you're doing"
