okay i know this is an ongoing problem but surely it has to be sorted im about to throw the game in the garbage. this for me has been a recent error well about 6 months. i have tried everything roll back drivers to so called ones that work, reinstall game,check file integrity,tried multiple drivers game lasts for about 5 mins. this is the only game that does this it's not good enough. Have you attempted to do the file verification within Steam. I have experienced this after the last 2 updates from DTG and each time the verification showed file errors and once the correct files were downloaded again all worked fine.
Plus make sure you have all your mods disabled. Older ones can crash the latest updates. Edit spellink
By mods. I meant unofficial addons, such as those available from https://mods.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world-2. Whenever the game engine gets updated older mods can sometimes prevent the game from loading properly.
I've been getting the same error message repeatedly for over a week now, after never having having any issues in TSW, TSW2020 or TSW2. Very disappointing after how much money I have spent on this game and add-ons. I have re-installed the game, uninstalled driver and windows updates and it still is happening. I changed settings like from 100% to 200% and the anti-aliasing etc, ever since then after 5 minutes the game crashes, I have changed all the settings back and even to lower spec than before. Plus I have noticed green and blue random particles flying around in the environment. If you check your ERROR MESSAGE you got there: 0x887A0005 - 'REMOVED', not that difficult to use google and check what this error is. Most of the time its graphic drivers problem, and not the game problem. Are you using latest drivers ? Did it work fine before update drivers ? If yes than maybe its time to do downgrade and go back to the previous version of the drivers as the latest looks like unstable.
Sorry About That "Quote" ..... It Didn't Register Right For Me .... !! I Too Have An AMD Radeon RX5600XT Giving The Same Problem .... Crashing Back To Desktop Within Seconds ..... !! I Spent a Great Deal of Time Changing Things .... With No Avail .... ! I Was Using An AMD Ryzen5 1600X (12 CPU's) .... And Eventually Realised That Finding The Correct Chip-Drivers For My ROG Motherboard, Actually Began To Sort Out The Problem ..... !! Then, After Choosing The Best Chip-Set Drivers, When I Came To Install The Graphics Drivers, They Interfered With The Chip-Set .... And Crashed The Game Again .... !! Fortunately I Have a Spare nVidia Graphics Card (GTX 1050Ti With 4GB GDDR5) .... So I Fitted That And Reset The Chip-Set Drivers .... :: Now The Graphics Driver Does "Not" Interfere With The CPU ... And The Game Runs ... :: However .... I Suddenly Found That My 5 year Old Motherboard Can Actually Take a Ryzen 9 3900XT ..... So I Swapped That And Completely Eradicated The Problem .... Using Of Course My AMD Radeon RX5600XT ..... GREAT ..... !!
