    Description
I would like to present here one of the most busy routes in Germany. The route Essen-Münster connects the Ruhr area with many parts in the north of Germany.
The exact 80 Km / 50 miles long route is used by many long-distance trains. In addition, there are 3 regional trains per direction and hour and a lot of freight trains.

    Game experience
Regional trains stops on every station between Gelsenkirchen Hbf and Münster Hbf. S-Bahn service stops between Gelsenkirchen Hbf and Essen Hbf on every station.
Long-distance trains stops in Gelsenkirchen Hbf, Wanne-Eickel Hbf and Recklinghausen Hbf.
Freight trains strarts their journey in Gelsenkirchen or Wanne-Eickel.
The Br 363 do shunting tasks in Wanne-Eickel Rbf and Münster (Westf.) Hbf.

Why DTG should build this route?
The players want to drive longer distances and want take a train from start station to endstation, what is possible with the RE42 between Essen and Münster. There are already a number of vehicles avaible that could be used as layers. For example the Br 101 for intercitys, MSB / RRO for freight trains, HMA for the ICEs and the Br 363 for shunting in Wanne-Eickel Rbf and Münster Hbf (the RE42 Dostos like RSN). The Br 422 for the S2 between Essen Hbf and Wanne-Eickel Hbf. Players that alrady own HRR could also use the section from Duisburg to Essen. In combination this could be the longest german route in TSW at the moment. The line is completely operated by DB Regio, which can simplify licenses. The Flirt 3 is known from the TS, so technical data should be easy to find. The Br 146.0 differs only slightly compared to de Br 146.2. The double-decker wagons need a high-entry and a redesign version. Many players were disappointed how DTG build Essen Hbf in the past, so now they can done it better.

There are more IC and ICE journeys between Essen and Münster, but they travel via Bochum and Dortmund.
In addition, there are 3-4 freight trains per direction and hour. Unfortunately I do not have any timetables for this.
The RE2 only runs with Dostos. The RE42 M`Gladbach- Münster only with Flirt 3 and the RE42 Essen-Münster in mixed constelation (Dosto or Flirt3).

Yes, as long as DTG has a license, things will become a reality.

This could become an extension to HRR!
Also dtg have worked with DB numerous times before

I would support that, but for me a full route that connects cologne and Düsseldorf to HRR and your route suggestion is also very very good, hopefully it will be added

But why does Dovetail Games only bring out 1 or 2 trains per route?

DTG will not extend the route to connect with the existing route. They have been paying attention to the production of new routes. This is a headache for players who want to extend the route, and I hope to get a long high-speed route.

This route shouldn't be a extension. But for players the already own HRR. It is possible to continue the journey up to Duisburg. It is like RRO (Wuppertal to Hagen) and RSN (Hagen to Siegen). The only difference is that the people that want continue up to Duisburg should have the possibility without creating a petition. I'am pretty sure, if DTG had known that many players wanted a connection between the to routes in Hagen, they prepare the timetable for this.

This theard is about the new route Münster - Essen. I just want to show what a possible extinction look like. HRR isn't necessarily for the functionality of this new route

There might be a slight problem, well for the Flirt 3 XL, they need the License from abellio, maybe also from VRR because the Livery is owned by VRR i think (VRR = Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr)

There you are right. Maybe the VRR can be convinced by the game and let DTG build the trains with this repaint. I wonder if the Abellio license is needed at all, because actually the trains are only rented. The same problem with the new RRX trains. Are they owned by the transport associations or NX and Abellio.

In any case, it would be nice to be able to run trains from other railway companies on German routes. The red monotony would disappeare in this way.

Well the Flirts are owned by Abellio as far as i know, because i think they use the same as for the RE 19 that goes to Arnhem and is not listed here and some of the BR 462's (RRX Trains) are owned by NX and some of them by Abellio

Are you trying to merge this with HRR to become Hauptstrecke Duisburg Münster? If merged DTG should make a bundle called NRW region bundle comprising this route HRR RRO RSN international route Hollandstrecke Duisburg Utrecht. Not sure if DB Baureihe 189 runs here if so it can merge with my Hollandstrecke Duisburg Utrecht by using the big Mülheim an der Ruhr Styrum triangle junction like the S3 to Oberhausen which has DB Baureihe 1429 which have Helga Bayertz announcement formerly Abellio NRW. IC2 does run on Riesa-Dresden the IC55 service.
