    Afternoon,

I’m getting very frustrated with this game. The train stops at stations and sometimes with no warning whatsoever it will not go forward again. I’ve tried re-doing the tutorials but I think it must be a bug. You know it’s going to happen if you slow down too quick and ‘shunt’ doesn’t do anything and you just grind to a halt. It’s happened to me at different stations since I bought the game yesterday and to say I’ve had enough is an understatement. Is there’s anything anyone can suggest? I’ve restarted the whole cab from start to finish as instructed and still nothing. My brakes are above 4and a half bar but sometimes they are zero. Both times nomovement forward. Many thanks

I think it may be something to do with the deadman’s handle. How do you reset this ? Many thanks

If you leave the drivers seat after setting up the train, then the Deadmans handle will go off. To reset, sit in the drivers seat and press on the throttle.

A word of warning: Make sure you be careful of where you stop at some stations (Queens park) as there is a piece of neutral rail. If you accidently stop on that then the train will get stuck as there is nowhere to draw power from. Best way to know if there is a piece of neutral rail is if there is a junction.

Do you know that’s probably where I’ve messed it up. So in that case when I’m stopping to a stop should I have it in what is in effect neutral to save the power?

No, it's a bug. Often happens while driving; the throttle simply ceases to function. It seems to be tied to braking, in other words after pushing the handle past 0, pulling it back to the power side produces nothing, and you gradually roll to a stop. It also happens in stations even when I've bulls-eyed the halt board at the end of the platform (where there is active third-rail power).

I've had this happen to me twice recently, once at Regent's Park, can't remember the other stop. 20 minutes into the route and I've got no throttle, very frustrating.

Happens to me too, and others, so it's believed to be a bug

You're not doing anything wrong. Its a bug, its happened too me and it always seems to happen at Queens Park for me, they need to release an update to fix this ASAP.

I can't say I remember having an issue like this pop up in the middle of a service, but then again I haven't driven on the Bakerloo in a while.

Anyhow, have you noticed that there was a red box around the brake/throttle position indicator on the HUD? It might have to do with an interlock, and the brakes have been fully applied. I don't remember the exact procedure, but I believe you might have to find a way to charge up the brakes again. Hopefully someone else can provide in depth details :)

Also I'm fairly certain there are no neutral sections within the stations, they are only at certain track switches. Even if you manage to stop on one, the back of the train should be in contact with the third rail and therefore still provide some power? Those neutral sections are only a couple yards long

Are the drivers windows closed?- they will stop the train moving unless the cut-out is isolated.
