Just asking, is there any plans to re-introduce NEC to tsw2?
I have it on disk for tsw2020 and want to complete the scenarios and timtable but not if it will come to tsw2.
Any info will be great, no matter how little.

There are no plans to bring NEC across to tsw 2 . They tried something different with that dlc which did not work as planned or something along those lines, it would be too much work to make it compatible.

 

It has been hinted that something might be happening with the NEC but it’s likely to be different to the route that was in TSW2020 and it will be a while before we see anything in any case.

For the moment, you should assume that it’s not coming to TSW2 and do the scenarios etc. from your disk.

 

I did not know they hinted at doing anything with that route. Must have missed it. I even watch all streams and visit forums regularly

 

I hope it’s DC - Baltimore or NYP to New Haven with Metro North.

 

Actually there have been small tiny hints but nothing confirmed at this time.

 

They have a good relationship with Amtrak so we could possibly have a new NEC. All speculation right now.
