I would like to have native support for the Raildriver desktop console if possible. I don't know if there are many Raildriver owners or just a few, but it makes driving a train so much nicer. Please add support for it, many thanks in advance
I'll add my 2p for this too. In fact not only allow RailDriver support but general controller support as well thus allowing custom built controller rigs.
+1 for raildriver support! why consider a train sim without one? Its like having a car driving /racing sim without wheel support
Not just Rail Driver, but please add support for generic DirectX controllers. Most simmers have a variety of different game controllers already. Please make it possible for us to use them in TSW.
I for one, have stopped playing Train Sim World, and purchasing any more routes or engines. Without support for Raildriver, all I am is an ineficient typist. If I wanted to be a typist I would buy Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing. No RailDriver support, consider my support for your Sim at an end. I consider your lack of support very telling, as you have disregarded your most enthusiastic of supporters. Those who would spend the money for a Train-only controller.
I feel your pain Taurcan. Driving a train with buttons or even the Xbox controller just seems insane. I want to push and pull levers similar to the real thing. A RailDriver would be nice, but since I already have good flight sim gear (throttle quadrants work great for a locomotive), I didn't want to buy yet another "box". I can't be the only person in this position which is why I keep trying to push this toward generic DirectX game controller support, not just RailDriver support. Generic support will, by default, support the RailDriver as well. Anyway, I took the effort to write custom programming to make my Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle work with TSW. It is still just a glorified axis to keyboard mapper, but it works very well. Sadly, it only works with TARGET compatible Thrustmaster gear. If curious, you can see it here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...t-for-warthog-throttle-saitek-tq-profile.3634 This isn't a replacement for support by DTG because an axis to keyboard mapper is a compromise. But if you have a Warthog, it is possible to enjoy TSW the way it should be enjoyed.
