Hi guys, I'm brand new to the world of train sims (picked up my first ever train sim - TSW2 - yesterday). Enjoying the experience immensely, and keen to see other parts of the world brought to life based on my own travel adventures. First up: South-East Asia. Japan: Everything from the high-speed bullet trains of the main island, to metronomic city metro systems (I'm looking at you Tokyo and Kyoto) and commuter rail routes to stunning sites like Nara, to the meandering monorail in Okinawa - it would all be amazing! Taiwan: An incredible, beautiful island, with another high-speed train route connecting Taipei in the North to the towns & cities along the Western coast down to Kaohsiung in the South. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwan_High_Speed_Rail#/media/File:Taiwan's_High-Speed_Rail_Line.png Vietnam: From stunning, rice-field-dotted mountains near Sapa, down through Hanoi and over the jaw-dropping "Hai-Van Pass" to Da Nang & Hoi-An. Continuing South to the Kite-surfing capital of SE Asia, Mu Ne, then the coastal towns and cities towards Saigon. The 1,800km route along the Eastern coast & South has a bit of everything. https://www.seat61.com/map-of-train-routes-in-southeast-asia.htm
