Vote here for a country where dtg shod bring out a new route and write down below what kind of route you would like to see next
We already have plenty of British and German routes. A lot of Asian countries have some pretty unique routes and locos. Would be wonderful to see a few of them in tsw2
I have not chosen any preference, because there is no Italian route. And it is a pity that DTG does not take this hypothesis into consideration. The Italian railways, in addition to being beautiful sites, boasts one of the best railway safety systems. Not to mention the high speed, unmatched. Easy to learn safety system, it would give hours of fun for true railway simulation lovers
I'm going to keep pushing for this, Midland Mainline. Because evryone seems to be focusing on London and the south of England.
North American anything (US, Canada, or even Mexico) since I doubt we'll see anything from Japan in the near future....
if the east coast way was extended to London bridge or london victoria would the game engine cope with it or would the game completely break upon entering
Agreed I would definitely like to see some more Canadian route added and even a route from Mexico would nice as well.

Belgium or Austria. Belgium because it's my home country and there are interesting routes with interesting sights, like Brussels to Antwerp, which the first half was the very first railroad on mainland Europe and has the gorgeous historical Antwerp Central station, and is the perfect length for TSW2 (about 50 km). Or Brussels to Liège which is more the type of route they're doing (there is one high speed branch used by some Intercity services (200 km/h or 125 mph), the ICE 3M from SKA and the Thalys (300 km/h or 186 mph), with a power change at the start and end of the branch, and a regional branch used by all the other trains including freight). It has intersting sights such as the very modern Liège Guillemins station. Also Belgian safety systems are quite simple: there is Memor, which works more or less like AWS using "crocodiles" on the track, and you have TBL which works very similarly to LZB (it is even shown on the dashboard the exact same way LZB is) although the info is provided with balises and not a cable. And the high speed section uses ETCS. As for Austria, well they use the same safety systems as Germany, but with different trains and they would be more scenic routes in my opinion, especially with the Alps being there.
Agreed, preferably Amtrak combined with freight and regional or commuter rail. Not a big fan of Japanese railroads, but their absence is strange given that they are fairly common in TS. There must be a market, you would think.
Biggest problem is licensing, as JR is pretty strict on it. Which is why Union Workshop is the only developer of Japanese content on TS, but its all unbranded. And I don't see DTG making any themselves for TSW2.
I'd like a route set in the Netherlands mainly because of the wide variety of trains (mainly EMU's) such as the Koplopers
Russia, China, Japan, Australia, Vintage US (1940s-60s), Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belgium, Netherlands, Amtrak, Canada, Mexico
United States NJ Transit Raritan Valley Line another route that can support the same feature as Train Simulator 14-21 dlc North Jersey coast line Dual Mode Locomotive ALP-45DP. Another choice they can also do for the United States is Long Island Railroad Babylon branch Train Sim World 2 features the flyover that Babylon Branch trains use from the main line to St Albans station. That one has flyer trains towards Wantagh Merrick Massapequa Park pre March 8th 2021 schedule. That's in addition to your normal Penn Station to Babylon service some of them stop at Lynbrook transfer to Long Beach Branch.
There needs to be some more American and Canadian routes. Take a break from all the European content.
I'd love a Dutch route, perhaps like the one I suggested. It offers something new to the game, and the ICMm 'Koplopers' look just too unique not to have in game at one point. I'd like German routes too, as long as they offer something new in terms of scenery, operation or rolling stock.
