Guys what should i get peninsula corridor Hauptstrecke Munich augsburg or wait for sehs If i get peninsula corridor i will get it with the mp36 I have wanted peninsula corridor for a long time with the mp36 but i like the br423 sounds And sehs well from what i saw it looks well not the best
Yeah, pick up Peninsula Corridor, I really enjoy it and it's one you've wanted so get that first. SHS will eventually go on sale, you can pick it up then once you want another route.
Just be cautios, i bought it and got bored very soon, there is a little bit of freight but it gets very repetative, i would wait for at least sehs stream and re- review it
Peninsula corridor is a good route. If you play the stopping passenger services, the route can take over an hour and a half to complete. There's also a variety of locos to use and you can expand by adding the baby bullet. I was lucky that PC came with TSW2020 and so carried over to TSW2 for free (preserved collection). I can't comment on HMA yet as I've not played it but Koln - Aachen was a good route. As for SEHS, I think we'll just have to wait and see what the services are like. I know they're currently working on the sounds for the traction motors and there is going to be another train as an add-on. The cool thing about SEHS is that level crossing animations are back after many years absence and they will gradually be introduced into other routes including preserved collection (same as the PIS at stations).
Lots of the runs are quite long on Peninsula Corridor, If I were you, I would wait for some more previews of SEHS before you decide
Peninsula Corridor is great value. Excellent route comes with the F40PH and Cab Car and the GP38. Plus you can add the Baby Bullet and the Switcher for lots of varied activities.
PC- It's a good route, made with a lot of care thanks to Caltrain giving DTG facilities to recreate the route in conditions, with good sounds. The two DLC are also of good quality, I especially like the shunter. As negative aspects, I find it a bit monotonous because it's basically a straight line and the scenery is quite similar all the time. And although it's not a big problem, it bothers me that on PS4 you can't see the water when you go through the San Francisco bay, too bad DTG didn't solve that for so long. This route as it is already old is on sale many times, as well as the DLC, so I wouldn't buy it at full price and wait. HMA- While it is a nice route, I don't recommend it at this time because we have the layers turned off on console. I was able to play it at launch with the 427 services and it was awesome, it improves 100% because it adds so much variety. It also suffers from poor performance, especially in the Munich area. With the optimisation that DTG is doing I hope we will eventually be able to enjoy it in its full glory. SEHS- At the moment it's too early to say if it will be a good route. It has potential but we have to wait for the last minute changes that DTG wants to implement after complaints.
SEHS will be great but if you really want Peninsula corridor then go for it. Will be cheaper than SEHS and you can get that in the future, it isn’t going anywhere.
Peninsula Corridor is just about my favorite route even with the TSW2 routes added (although I don’t own any additional TSW2 DLC). The F40 and gallery cars are nostalgic to me and the mp36 and bi levels add some variety to it (I don’t own the switcher). The F40 took some getting used to with the lap brakes but fun once I got the hang of it and the mp36 set is one of my favorites to drive. I just hope they optimize them a little better.
I pick them up as they go on sale so now own most routes, personally I like the complexity of PZB LZB on the German routes
I’d say get SEHS to be the proud owner of some spanking new content next week and pick up the other two in the next sale if you need to save pennies. I’m far from flush but since starting of with 2020 last March and TSW2 from day one I’ve picked up 95 percent of DLC over time
It is useless to ask for advice as long as you don't tell us what you like and what the decision criteria should be. I only could tell you what I like.
