The Class 142 Pacer train, An icon, however uncomfortable, to the British travelling public in wales and south but mainly north of England. The train introduce in 1980s would fit perfectly the routes set in the north of England, Tees Valley Line & North Pennine due to the time period they are set in

It would be very cool ! As bas they are (never been on one btw) they're indeed an icon ! Plus, today, Pacer run indeed on Tees Valley Line (and not Northern Transpennine, it has Transpennine Express Class 185)

Wow, 100% positive ratings on your poll... I support this suggestion as well!

We already have a great route to run a 142 on which is Tees Valley line, adding variety to it would be great. DTG also produced a high quality model of the pacer in TS a couple years ago, I'm sure it could be reused in part.
