The trains of the RB 48 Rhein-Wupper-Bahn stop at all passenger stations and stops along the route, with the exception of S-Bahn stations. They run every half hour between Wuppertal-Oberbarmen and Bonn-Mehlem stations from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. Outside of rush hour, every second journey ends in Köln Hbf. Between 9 p.m. and midnight, the first journey of the hour ends in Köln Hbf and the second journey per hour only runs on the section from Köln Hbf to Bonn-Mehlem. Some more trips are shortened on Saturdays and Sundays. Re7 is a regional express that runs from Rheine to Krefeld. From Wuppertal to Cologne. Drive re7 and Rb 48 the same way. If not enough wagons are available, br110 + N wagons are sometimes used on the rb48
Could be used as an extension for ska, I find the current route of ska very boring and limited, so an extension would be much appreciated
Yep! And I cry every time that I need to end the game at Wuppertal Steinbeck So close yet still so far... Funny though, what are the chances to meet someone from the same city in a niche game where only ever so few people from the player base are active on the forums!
Would it be an idea to add the ICE 1 or 2 to this route? It runs in there from Köln to Wuppertal, and in to Aachen on RRO. Also, would you mind if I did my own suggestion on this route, with the ICE 1 or 2? Anyways, very good suggestion, though Germany is already a bit overrepresented, I'd love to see it!
Totally agree with the overrepresentation. Of any new German routes are added, they should at least offer new gameplay (1 tracked diesel branches or something). For now, I'm looking forward to new countries, for one of which I made a suggestion. (Maybe there should be some more US routes aswell, I don't play them myself, but they haven't gotten as much attention as the UK and Germany)
