I have finally managed to run my Class 52 with Mk1 coaches along GWE from Paddington to Reading. For this scenario, I put in a stop at Slough. I am aware that you start at Paddington loaded and ready to leave. However, on stopping at Slough, there was no prompt to perform the loading task and the same at Reading. Is there something I am doing wrong as I have selected this as a passenger service?
Could be a specific GWE issue? all the routes i've used do this correctly, you're correct that at Paddington you're set to go but it definitely should be giving prompts at stops.
It never has done for me and I've done many scenarios. The AI trains (if programmed) will do the stops but the ones I drive only tell you to stop at station and no loading prompt is given.
Just booted up a custom scenario on ECW, as you can see both at the start point and the next stop, the game provided both the wait time and instruction to load passengers.
Ahh, ok. I've figured it out now. You have to select both passenger and driver in the menu when creating the scenario rather than just passenger.
I have selected both check boxes for player service and passenger service but it does not allow the loading function.
That's strange. Perhaps you could file a bug report in the technical issues part of the forum for TSW2.
This is a known issue in scenario planner. Whether you're prompted to perform a passenger loading task at station stops, including the station you're departing from, is train-specific not route-specific. The class 52 happens to be one of those which doesn't perform passenger loading. Trying a different train might solve the problem. It has nothing to do with the route, and there's no extra box you can tick to make it happen.

Seems so. That means that to acquire the 52 boarding task trophy, I need to use WSR. Tried to avoid this due to slow line speeds.
