    Hello,

    Over the last few weeks, I’ve noticed an increase in mini-stutters on nearly every route. It’s for a fraction of a second, it’s noticeable but doesn’t ruin the experience but just wondering the cause?

    I know stuttering has been done to death on here, but I’m more confused why I’m getting more than ever?

    Similarly, the initial TSW2 splash screen, when loading the game, now stays on for ages (I’m talking nearly a minute, where as it was a few seconds).

    Now is this due to updates to TSW2, or Nvidia updates? I have the latest game-ready driver. TSW2 is installed on my 480GB SSD

    Specs are;

    i7 9700k 8 core
    RTX 2080 Super
    32GB Ram
    2TB HDD
    480 GB SSD

    27 inch monitor Asus VG27AQ 1440p (by the way has anyone got some decent monitor optimisation settings for this).

    You shouldn't be getting any stutter with that machine. I don't, on far less horsepower. Query: have you tried pegging the frame rate to your monitor's refresh rate?

    My FPS is capped to 60FPS, my monitors refresh rate is 144hz overclocked to 165hz

    That may be your problem: your framerate and refresh rate are out of sync (overclocking doesn't help, either).

    Try downrating your monitor to 120 (60 x 2), or use rr150/fr75: any arrangement where one is an even multiple of the other.

    Maybe that’s it, on ultra settings I can get up to 120FPS, if I just let it go. So maybe cap it at 60 and 60?

    60/120 should work fine, as long as one is a multiple of the other. Frankly, past 60 the human eye can't tell the difference, except the occasional strobe effect

    Your Monitor ist G-Sync capable and your GPU is as well, don't bother with frame rate capping or any of that stuff. Turn G-Sync on and V-Sync off and that's it. Limiting the frame rate makes no sense with your setup.
    Do you by any chance use TSW2 with DX12? At least on my system this causes stutters whenever something is loading. If you do, try turning DX12 off.
