Hi guys. just recently bought - LNER Class A3 'Flying Scotsman' - from the in-game/online store - the green one / not the black one.

looking for a route to buy that I can use for this classic... (a route for the green/original one) - a route that just works for the black one would be useless to me.

    thank you :)

I see the route 'London to Brighton' Add-On only works for the black one. Is there any for the green one?

Swap out the loco in the scenario using TSTools, or even the scenario editor itself. You can put whatever loco you want, into any scenario you want. You can't edit career scenarios, but you can convert them to standard or time table scenarios, THEN edit them.

Thanks, TS Tools is another thing to get to grips with!

Looking at the instructions on the TS Tools downloads page, it says to update not install if you already have RW Tools. I have a file called RWAceTools.exe in my Railworks folder - is that it or something separate?

Has anybody had a problem with TS Tools prompting "Run-time error '6': Overflow" when in the scenario editor? I can save the scenario but I have to restart TS Tools because it stops working properly.

I think it's unrelated. It's not something I have here.

You can have TS-Tools and RW_Tools on the same computer - you can only run one of them at at a time.
I have both on my PC - no issues.
    Always run either as "Administrator"
TS_Tools is the latest and much much better version of RW_Tools. TS_Tools makes it easy to swap out consists in TS more so than any other program including the TS-Editor (the latter being useful for complex edits/swaps).
Mike Simpson has a dedicated forum page: Atomic Systems - [TS] RW Tools (uktrainsim.com)
    Runtime Error 6
Try going to the Options menu and click on the option to Register SuperPicture2.ocx and see if that helps, or if it gives a message that something did not work?
If running Windows 7 that could be a problem.

PH - Mike was trying to save you time and trouble:
    This program replaces RW_Tools.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE TS-TOOLS OR RW-TOOLS, USE THE UPDATE
FILE BELOW RATHER THAN INSTALL THE WHOLE LOT AGAIN.

Peter, if I want to create a new variant of a loco and save it in the loco list, is that something that can be done in TS tools, etc, or does the new consist made that way only come up in a scenario.

Thanks for the suggestion Peter Hayes. Didn't work though. I'm on windows 10.
Its not the end of the world because I can still edit scenarios, just slightly annoying that is have to reopen after saving.

Sorry Peter but you are wrong.

I have both on my computer and I ran both side by side the other day as I needed to copy information from one bin file to another.
Mike Simpson and other agreed with me in a thread on UKTS that was the best way to do it

Assuming you have a scenario for some where and you have the train used in the scenario then that is the easy way to do it.
IF you have downloaded a Scenario and you are swapping because you don't own the loco it won't work as the train can't load

TS Tools does the same thing outside the game

    And RW Ace?
Why would you think a program inside the game is something to do with a program outside the game that you have not installed?

Thanks for the correction - I was unaware that you could do that!

I have Flying Scotsman and don't recall it including scenarios for any route. She'll still work in QuickDrive though and I believe there's one or two in the Workshop.
