East Coastway Extension

Would love for dovetail to Extend the route up to Ashford International. Add the class 171 and class 205 thumper

 

One of my favourite routes so I’d certainly welcome an extension if they ever decide to do one.

 

I would be happy with just the ore/hastings section added

 

As someone who lives on that part, I would always spawn at either Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings or Ashford and just drive the Turbostar, I wouldn't touch the Electrostar after that......... Unless I had to, of course. But in all seriousness, I'd love this route or just Eastbourne to Ashford with all the trains used

 

Yes, this route would be good- also there i think dtg have a ts20xx 170 that they could use

 

41 miles. Far Better to do London to Brighton and Lewes as an extension. The route is nice between Eastbourne and Ore, which is why it is a shame that the East Coastway is cut off at Eastbourne. Ore to Ashford is rather slow. There is a maximum 60 mph and the scenery is just plains for the majority of the Marshlink line. And hourly service, less than even the island line. Sorry but London to Brighton and Lewes as an extension would be more entertaining.

 

Can we extend the east coastway it is too short

 

The marsh link line would make me want to drive ecw more
