I'd like to suggest the following route to be made for TSW 2; Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly via Birchwood set between 2010 and 2015. A selection of DMU's to choose use on this route, before the Class 195s were introduced.

    Route:

Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street via Birchwood
    Era:
    Modern - 2010 - 2015
    Traction potential:
    TransPennine Express Class 185, Northern Class 142, 150, 156, East Midlands Trains Class 153, 156, 158
    Route mileage:
    32 miles
    Run time:
    50 - 75 mins
    Services:
2tph between Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street
2tph between Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool Lime Street
Any empty stock moves to/from Allerton Depot

I used to work in Birchwood at the Carphone Warehouse Call Centre (Stanford House) before we moved to the one on Kelvin Close.

This would be brilliant, my local line at Birchwood. I would give so much money for this route to be made, it has so much variety with stoppers and semi-fast services. It'd be great if they can replicate the daily delays on this line too.

However, one suggestion I would love to offer in for this route would be branding the Liverpool - Manchester as the two lines, so CLC and Chat Moss. Similar to how they did RRO with the two routes, which would give a bit of diversity and both could terminate at Piccadilly. Only difference between the two being the electrified Chat Moss which uses different rolling stock. Although this could be mitigated by the proposed time period you have set the route in, as the line wasn't completely electrified until 2015.

I think this is a great idea. Given we have the route in TS classic. Also we still don’t have any ‘modern’ northern England routes
