How big do the Tench actually get here, I pulled a 14lb out early this evening, I thought "the Doctor" was the Boss and biggest tench in this lake?.
That's what I thought too until I caught a 13lb 6oz tench. Been trying to catch the doctor for a week now. I'm starting to think this fish isn't in the lake. Titan28 what rig and bait was you using
Hey dude, I was using a Korda ID-Q size 8 silt, with Double Medium Sweetcorn, 2nd peg from the dam wall on the right side, casting up towards the middle of the lake about 25-30 yards.
there could be some unknown monsters in there?! Don't forget, some fish in real life can go years without being caught so maybe 'the doctor' is particularly shy?
