Not very useful for the European and worldwide variants. I made a 66 with the cant line, all the warning signs and yellow ends. Then I just copied it and pasted it. Now every time I want to make a new class 66 livery it’s already half done, I just have to add the specific livery details.
Funny I never looked. So to answer your question here are my colors. Main body is h235 s86 v40 a255 Red is h0 s79 v66 a255 Yellow is h50 s100 v89 a255 Grey is h0 s0 v38 a255 Orange is h18 s89 v91 a255 I have no idea what any of that means!
Dear God that is good. What colour mix did you use for dark green and grey? Going to try and have a go myself
No problem, I just like that most of these 377 schemes are simple to make, unlike those pesky French trains which I love but can't draw! Good thing we've got a resident expert with them!
The darker green which is used on the stripes is: HSV 163, 90, 14 The green from the overall train is: HSV 165, 73, 17
Good point, for the GWR writing and for the doors? I think they are different in the pallet mix you used (could be wrong)? Thank you in advance
Thank you & Top work. Think I have worked out the orange as 18, 89, 90 approx, dont know if you have the same your end (for above door)
No problem. I didn’t used any orange both line and small part over the door is automatically set on the train unlike the 375 by exemple when you have to do the orange stripe
Thank you again. Considering leaving the javelin sticky out bits green and then running it paddington to acton with OHLE. However dont know how real that will look or if the eye gets drawn. Certainly the 395 lends itself far better to a GWR re skin than the ice
Oh the trainbow....whatever don't see the point of it at all but if it's prototypical I guess it makes sense to include it.
Rainbows are fun though. Plus the game has a depressing lack of special liveries so it's always nice to have extra.
You could ask what’s the point of driving a pretend train service with pretend passengers on a video game too. They are both just a bit of fun.
Impossible! Lol anyway I decided to create my own freight company and paint a 66 in it. Here is a Channel Express Rail Services class 66 in electric blue.
My first couple of attempts on the livery editor after looking through various posts for info on weathering etc....... A white/grey version of the CSX coal hopper and a fictional boxcar imagining Breng have started up a logistics operation in the US. The 395 seemed like it could be a candidate to reproduce one of my favourite liveries, the old Frecciargento livery on the ETR485 And it turned out pretty decent Sorry if the level of detail is sub par, but I didn't bother too much since this livery got deleted straight away, even if beautiful, it would completely kill the immersion seeing an old italian EMU going around on SE HS. Also the black piece around the window doesn't look all that great in the more curvy 395.
