Yes, this is a very good idea. I'd like to see a three month roadmap of things that are coming up. Especially things being developed first-party, as I'd imagine something has to be created for the 2022 edition of the game.

Don't wanna be Mr. Bubble Burster, but it's been stated multiple times in the DTG streams that TS Classic isn't getting a roadmap due to the sheer amount of third party content available for the game. So the stance DTG takes on a TS Classic roadmap is very clear. As nice as it would be to have roadmap for TS, I don't think they're ever gonna do it.

Ah, looks like a post was made indicating it's an ecosystem issue. It would be nice if third-party devs just gave regular updates and a semi-roadmap could be made every three months detailing where third-party developers are on projects. As-is, we know about nothing until literally days before it goes on sale. Kind of hard to build hype for something based on that.

Depends on the dev, some are pretty quiet on what they are working on, any you have no clue what's coming next or what they have planned...

Others are pretty open on what they are doing and usually share WIP photos on what they have got.

DTM for example, usually posts regular updates for their upcoming projects and what they are working on. As their recent posts show, they are working on a New Haven ALCO DL-109 as well as Passenger Coaches for it as well.

The reason it wouldn't work as much on TSx is that there have been developers hounded by the community to the point that they no longer (publically) develop for the software. Don't need a list of who to badger til they stop
