I'm working in Zurich for at least the next 12 months, am staying in an apartment hotel and have left my shiny new PS5 back in the UK, I am considering getting a PS4 slim to play TSW2 on while I am here. Does it run ok on the slim?
It’s officially a PS4 game so it should. But imagine as you’ve played it on the PS5... ...it’ll be like flying first class and then the return flight in economy
I know, but needs must. Lockdown is bad enough, but a nightmare without some gaming to pass the time! I've bit the bullet and ordered one.
Nothing wrong with playing it on my ps4 I've had since launch back in 2013 ish or whenever , runs well. Can't imagine it'll be much different on the slim, although if it's more compact then the fan might be a bit louder
No it's not! It's horrible! PS4 Slim had the same specs as Standard PS4: - stable 30-40fps only at walking around - 20-40fps timetable/scenario (depend on route & traffic) - 10-30fps scenario planer with 20 Trains (Route Köln-Aachen most time 27fps) Owner of Consoles can test fps by pressing 'F3' on a Keyboard.
I play on the PS4 slim and and it's honestly not that bad. The only route with significant lag that I've played is HMA. On the other hand GWE and ECW look beautiful and run very smoothly. You'll be fine
