As the title says today i encountered an PZB induced emergency stop after passing a yellow 90 board.
Which, unless i understood something wrong, i should not have to acknowledge.
    Route: MSB
    Loco: Dostos cab car
Service: Gemünden - Heigenbrücken - Limited Stops (3rd one in Journey mode chapter 2)
Location: Right after the 69/0 kilometer board
There is a 120kph speed restriction with an upcoming 90 warning followed by a yellow/green distant signal for which i was preparing but before i reached it the 1000hz pzb stop kicked in. I can only assume the 1000hz at the 90 board was active and tripped me up.

    Anyone else encounter this?

I’m sure if your driving over 100kph and encounter a speed warning of below 100kph you have to acknowledge as you’d have to bring the speed down to 85kph before increasing it to 90kph.

There are magnets on the track checking your braking curve in some cases (you'll see two magnets together on the track leading up to a restriction). It seems like you were coming into a speed restriction too fast (speeding) if that was the case.

The orange 9 speed board should be acknowledged if it has a magnet beside it in addition to the main signals showing upcoming speed restrictions. Learn these tricky sections as MSB does catch me out the most for PZB compared to other routes.

The cab car - you should also hold the PZB button to ensure it registers an acknowledgement.

Check out the red link in my signature. There are special rules for speed restrictions between 80-100 km/h and 100-160 km/h. In your case, you need not acknowledge the 90 km/h restriction announcement if you're speed at the board is below 105 km/h. If you're faster than that, you need to acknowledge it and expect a 1000Hz monitoring.

You're welcome :) No TSW manual teaches you how PZB acknowledging above 80 km/h works and the website in my signature is the only one I could find that offers the instructions in English.
