Kind of a noob question, but how does one begin AI for observing or railfanning? I'm lv58 and have never had interest in such activities until now. Oakville Sub boasts that I can just take a ride in the conductor's seat, or setup trackside somewhere and watch the railroad work itself... Yeah? How do I go about making that happen? It this a feature of Oakville, or can I do it on other routes as well?
There are not Railfanning scenarios (like in TS20xx), but you can always spawn on foot at a precise time in a precise location, and watch the railroad work around you. You can find this mode in the "explore" section of the route, and instead of selecting "timetable" you select "spawn on foot" and pick your location and time of choice. You can than jump on a train (both as the driver or as a secondman - not driving).
