Since I was looking at an article on clinchfield railroad for TS2021 I was wondering if we could have GP9 high hoods on the clinchfield railroad for TSW 2 it's an idea I would just like a either GP7 or GP9

Not to buzz-kill anything here. But, Clinchfield has more GP7s (17 units plus 1 used) than the GP9s (2 units) in their roster. So you will likely be seeing GP7s if that happens.

The GP7 would make more sense that the GP9 as stated above.....

Also I really cant find a good photo of either Clinchfield GP9 except this one....

If the GP9 were to come to TSW2, it would need to be for a railroad that had a good chunk of them...

Wait a min. Wasn't there already a GP7 in CRR for the TS1 version?

(Not in non-DB of course. But still)

No worries. It is hard to tell a difference between a GP7 and a GP9 from the body design (with or without DB).
Then again, it does look like it's was reused from the GP9 model (instead of the GP7 from Horseshoe Curve for some reason). And just slap on some additions and changed the specs to make it look like a GP7. But who knows why at this point, just a thought after all.

In TS20xx, we got four locomotives, F7A/B, GP7, GP38 and SD40. For TSW, we're only getting the SD40 and F7's. Too bad, but let's hope additional locos and rolling stock will be added later, as with SPG. Of course we could always borrow the GP9 and GP38 from CN's Oakville Sub.;)

No question that a GP7 would be a killer-app loco DLC for Clinchfield.

Indeed, a GP7 or 9 would be great to have in TSW!
