The south western mainline, better known as the SWML is a route operated mainly by South Western Railway and stretches from the capital of london to the countryside views of Weymouth and Bournemouth with the overall journey time of the whole route spanning around 2 hours. The most common sights of units being the Siemens class 444 and 450 Desiro family as well as 707s, 442 plastic pigs, 455s, 458/5 and newly arrived 701 arterios, all operated by South Western railway or SWR. Other TOCs that operate aoong the line are Crosscountry operating class 220 and 221 voyagers between Bournemouth and Basingstoke, GWR mainly at Southampton using 158 and 159 units from Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff central, And southern class 377/4s between Southampton and Brighton with the occaisional service to London victoria. As well as passenger operations, between Redbridge and eastleigh are sites mainly for Southampton Port and Network rail as well as Eastleigh TMD. The units and companies are usually EWS/DB Schenker with class 66's, Frieghtliner with a depot near millbrook station that houses class 66's, 70's and 2 class 08 shunters, I as well as others would greatly appreciate this route, thank you for reading my suggestion.

Also forgot to mention the SWR class 450 and 444 would come with the route the rest could be added later on as DLCs except the class 66 freight and the trains could feature maybe both SWT, SWR and SWR pride livery branding. south-western-railway-strike-hutterstock_1333169741.jpg unnamed.jpg

I agree. This would be a nice add-on for Train Sim World 2.

Agreed, I would certainly like to see this is TSW 2. A route with possibilities for passenger and freight workings. Would be a definite purchase from me. Could even link up Portsmouth - Southampton with the 'Solent Link'. Good possibilities for workings too.

they would probably only go up to Southampton if they were to make it or Bournemouth at a stretch but lets see hope it comes out

  11. No way it would go all the way to Weymouth, as that's many times longer than the longest route in the game. However, London to Portsmouth is quite do-able and would probably be quite popular. (I would definitely buy)
