PlayStation 395 Destination Display

How do you set the destination display on the Class 395. I’m in a Custom Scenario and it hasn’t set it for me.

 

From what I understood it sets itself automatically. Usually there is a code for each station that has to be entered, and they did not program that function in.

Apparently, it was hinted at the pis even detecting destinations on its own, but I am unsure to what extent. Threw it on HMA yesterday and the screens stayed blank. Maybe it only works for SEHS and future routes?

 

Didn’t even work on my Custom Scenario on SEHS. Why not just allow us to change the Display manually?

 

Yeah its slightly annoying. Hopefully for the 313 and 465 they sort this out as they use TrainFX with a code.

 

I doubt it'll work for routes other than the one it was meant for.

 

Matt said it would in the first SEHS stream, and said he hadn’t tried it yet but was going into HMA to test it, we haven’t heard anything since and it does not work.

 

I tried it on ECW and it works

 

Interesting, I’ve only tried on NTP & TVL so far, and it hasn’t worked for me.

 

it wont work because it uses manual destination boards whereas the newer routes such as ECW and HMA have dot matrix electronic destination displays

 

NTP & TVL are set in the past though and not a modern route so no one would really expect it to work on them to

 

Bakerloo uses manual and it works there, but another route it doesn’t work on is GWR.

 

think thats because bakeker loo has working platform screens

 

There’s no absolute reason really, it’s working on some & not on others, and then it’s bugged on other routes too.

Generally it’s just not implemented on routes before ECW, then on some from TSW 2 but not all.
