EDIT: reached end of represented area when approaching Ebbsfleet Spawn on foot at 7:35am @ St.Pancras - Grab the train on platform 11 - Will say "no active services" - select BEGIN - Service 1J12 begins at 7:39am to Ashford International Looking back at the service timetable- there is no 7:39am service out of St.Pancras, nor are any of the 59 services anything other than St. Pancras to Faversham and vice versa.
I did the same thing yesterday. Thought ooh no one else has mentioned this. Pulling into the lower platforms I was like 'you CAN use the lower ebbsfleet platforms!' I was just about getting ready to create a post on the forum, then BOOM! white screen of death... I'm prepared to be proven wrong, but surely it wouldn't take much effort to make these services properly playable. I mean, the lower platforms are largely modelled anyway, by the looks of it. What else is there to do? That's a genuine question by the way, not sarcasm ;P Edit: also once the service starts you need to stay in the driver's seat or you lose permission to drive the train Edit 2: for the record I did it by spawning at St pancras at 12:10 and starting the 12:14 service to Margate I think it was. Point is there is obviously multiple services
They have services like this on the LGV route which you can drive non stop through aix en Provence and Avignon but it makes you stop on the fast lines at Avignon
