This is not frequent but when it happens the following events are always reproduced: 1) You use horn together with other actions like cut traction and apply brakes 2) Horn sound gets detached from train and stays on one side of the track 3) Then periodically you find a static horn sound loop placed at one side of the track (it´s your train original horn sound) 4) On your train you don´t have horn sound available anymore. Only the bell works. So far I have suffered it in Peninsula Corridor and Sand Patch, in different situations but always when using multiple commands at once as explained in 1). The separation for the static horn loops on the side of the track appears to be equal to your train lenght. Cheers
Yes, I and others have reported this, particularly on SPG. I doubt that a bug fix is in our near future though.
Nice to know. I remember having this issue in Sand Patch with the brakes release sound as well, so it´s not only related to horn. In that case it happened while leaving Cuberland yard. I don´t have a video about it but it was exactly the same problem as with horn: sound got detached from train and then you had static brake sound loops along the whole line. Cheers
It's an annoyance when I encounter this (on Xbox). It's always a risk sounding the horn at crossings on Peninsula Corridor. It was in 2020 too.
Yes, it´s a pain. Today I had it 5 times in a row in Sand Patch with the 4400 in the U877 - A coal service. I had to save and load game all the time to get rid of it. In the past it was not that frequent but since latest updates I had it twice this week. Today I was just using horn alone, not doing any other actions. Pufff... Cheers
