This part of the east coast main line is from London Kings Cross to Peterborough. The East coast main line is operated by London North Eastern Railway (LNER). LNER run class 800 (azuma) And 91 This route consists of a 76 mile run from the heart of London to Peterborough. The class 800 is made by hitachi in japan and runs on over head catenary. The class 91 also runs on the same type of power and was made BREL. The ECML is one of the most popular routes as it has some of the best trains in the UK and is one of the busiest lines in Britain. TIMES - Open LNER times in files The ECML carries 20 million people per year. The upgrade done to the line cost 1.2 billion pounds. London Kings Cross is one of London's biggest hubs for train services. Here is a link to Alan Thomson having a look at this tin ts 2018 This is a cab ride when East Coast operated this line I think this would be a great addition for TSW 2 and when steam comes along the flying scotsman would look great on this route. I hope you enjoyed reading this and want this route to.
Yes this would be so welcome and with the 700 it could then go to sehs. This being a loco line to me I would certainly buy this route and there is plenty of routes and freight to enjoy along this line
I would love the ECML in TSW, but maybe not London to Peterborough. It would be nice to see a modern route not coming out of London or in the south. Maybe Newcastle to York?
I completely agree, and I would still buy the route if it was KGX - PBO. I just think something from the north would offer a bit more variety to what we already have in game
You could also have the moorgate branch and because there tons of station will be alot of fun. Yes there is variety North of ecml but how many would actually be included in game
I think that London to petubourgh is quite short in what you can do, i think more stations and stopping services
this would be a great start 45 minutes non stop, 50 if you stop at Stevenage with LNER, 1 hour 15 all stops by Great Northern, Bounds Green stock moves, Ferne Park freight and stock to Peterborough, busy commuter route, rail tours, steam. DLC additions Peterborough to York, York to Newcastle, Newcastle to Edinburgh. Fingers crossed
Thameslink, Great Northern and other operators i'd imagine could be on this too. But as others have said we need more modern routes outside of London
