Can NOT figure out what I am doing wrong. Am rolling along with PZB- no magnet, no restricted monitoring- AFB set to a hard 25 km/h and doing about 22... and every time, well over a klick before the 5 km/h train wash slowdown (just at the level crossing), I get an involuntary emergency braking.

What the devil am I doing wrong here??????

And I thought it was just me! This happened to me twice at the start of the scenario and I was already crazy late with the passenger run before I left Munich. I have plans to try the scenario again and not use PZB until loading passengers, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Thought I recall an Ne2 board that needs to be acknowledged on that section (black X shape on white backplate).

You have to acknowledge this board because there is an unprotected crossing AND there is no signal so you have to acknowledge that the way ahead is free.

Also, the 500 hz (red) magnet is active when the next signal aspect is 30 kmh or below and since you have to go 5 kmh through the washing building, the magnet is active.

Yes, finally figured it out. The Ne2 (by itself with no signal) indicates a track magnet, which has to be acknowledged. It's all good- even arrived in Pasig on time (although the scenario gives you NO time to run the length of the train and set up the second cab)

    Thanks! And here's the culprit:

The moral here is never ignore a sign by a magnet!

It was nice to finally run this scenario on time. The AI traffic leaving Munich is fun.

Oh, I know that. But once you get there, you still have about 30 seconds to get up and running if you want to be on time.

I doubt the real life DB does it that way.

Scenarios seem to have unrealistic change end times. I'd much rather be given a realistic allowance and have chance to do things normally than have to rush.
