I say The Netherlands! Because its my native country and the country where I live, NS has some unique rolling stock (e.g: ICMm), The Netherlands has in general a unique timetable and such. I think it would be a good country for TSW2!
I am all for the Netherlands too! Pretty much for the same reasons, I've already suggested a route a while back. The timetables are amazingly dense, and the stock quite unique! Do you have any specific route or stock you'd like to see?
Netherlands? That's just boring flatland, give me some proper mountains to climb instead Austria would be perfect
I still think Austria is more likely than the Netherlands because we already have PZB, LZB tech. So not really a new signaling system. Also the Taurus, we got in TSW. And I think DTG did a Austrian route for TS, didn't they? Did they ever do a dutch route? I'm asking because when they already have some done research for TS, it seems more likely to see it again in TSW.
I don't have specific routes I would like to see, I just want to see Amsterdam Centraal, Utrecht Centraal, Arnhem Centraal & Enschede (Enschede because I live nearby the station). And I would like to see ICM*(m), VIRM(m) ICNG**, and you guessed it! Mat '64*! *Depends at which time the rout is based. I am talking about the ICM and Mat '64 not ICMm. **Only if DTG ever make a Dutch route in 2025 or later.
My home country Finland! Although it would be difficult to do the reseach and get reference material during the pandemic but maybe after that
As far as the topic goes, would like to see Japan come, but with how the licensing thing works with JR, I don't see it happening till Union Workshop starts developing for TSW2. Another country I would like to see that hasn't got a chance yet is Mexico, even though the routes would be similar to US and Canadian Freight routes. (N de M maybe?)
They did the Mittenwaldbahn, Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Innsbruck However, the "Sifa," "Zwansbremsung" usw. recordings say it slower.
Austria. We get Switzerland with Rivet so it would be nice to see Austria too. Netherlands would be nice too but it is incredibly flat. That means, as drawing distances are the problem, I doubt it would be very pleasurable experience. I would like to see Sweden as well.
I registered on the forums to see if anyone else spent their time imagining how amazing it would be to have Japanese routes and trains in TSW2, and looks like there are more than a few people who would love it. Nice to see I'm not alone in this. Japanese rail routes and trains offer such a difference to anything else - they would be a massively diversifying addition to the sim.
Philippines if you guys wanted an elevated metro line gameplay. If the player base wanted combination of Asian and European train signaling systems that will be South Korea. In the case of Korail French TVM-430 KVB is used on High Speed rail while Korean ATC and light signalling is used outside of the High-Speed Rail lines. The High speed lines are Seoul-Daegu-Busan and a Branch to Jeolla Province towards Jeonju & Yeosu from Daejon. Electrification system on those is 25kv 60hz like Western Japan United States and Canada.
Japan. Preferably some sort of Shinkansen line with additional local trains and some freight action. Basically a Japanese GWE. Also I’d love to drive the Hello Kitty train.
I would like to see a Japanese Railway Route or the Taiwan High Speed Railway could be an idea for a Taiwanese route for Train Sim World.
I would love to have a route which crosses borders for example the Venlo-Mönchengladbach Line or the Arnhem-Wesel Line
I went with Japan, though others were a close second. But not a high speed Shinkie line, either a commuter, tram or rural route - something from the old Densha de Go or SL de Ikou games. Maybe even Forest Rail from Union Workshop, that would be lovely.
Belgium route, Belgium has a lot of nice rollingstock and special rolling stock, Belgium still have its own savety system (TBL). There are some beautifull and big stations like Antwerpen Centraal with 3 layers of tracks! SNCB HLE18: loco, the vectron is based on the HLE18. SNCB AM08 Desrio ML: mostely used as S and P train. SNCB AM80: mostley used as S and P train, its and quite older but beautifull train that is used in Turkey too. SNCB M6: double decker train used as P and IC train SNCB M7: newest double decker trains used not for the IC between Ostend and Eupen. The train can be driven with his own power car or a loco. SNCB AM96: used as IC, based on the dsb IC3
The poll options are pretty limited. No eastern European countries at all, and only 3 countries outside of Europe. I guess it would be impossible to make a poll with all of the countries. That said, I'd be curious to see a Russian route. I bet that'd offer a nice change of landscape, vehicles, signalling, and railway operations.
Besides Dutch routes I'd also like to see Czech routes, Austria, and maybe Norway and Sweden too. French routes that aren't dedicated high-speed lines would also be fun.
Well it sure would be nice, seeing a route from my home country. But I voted for Japan, it's a must have!
