There is countless amounts of rendered track on routes with the option to switch the points, but you can't access these sidings from the mainline in pretty much all the routes. You can start in some with the freight trains, but even then you can't do a whole lot. It would be nice to be able to route an AI train through a siding so you can pass it on an express service. It would be nice to have a full free roam that we can do whatever we want. It's not much of a simulator when it's so linear.
Yea but you can't choose the track you run on, it's automatic. There's plenty of bypass junctions that could be utilised, but for some reason Dovetail don't give you useable points that branch off the main lines, only on Sandpatch can it be done
