I would like to see many routes from the uk added into tsw2 but i would like to see what routes everyone else would want too
In no particular order: East Coast Mainline- London Kings Cross to Peterborough/Leeds/York/Newcastle/Edinburgh. Traction: Class 91/HST/800/700 West Coast Mainline- London Euston to Birmingham/Manchester/Preston/Glasgow. Traction: Class 390/221/350. Depending on era, could have Class 86/87/90/47/57/HST South Western Mainline- London Waterloo to Basingstoke/Portsmouth/Southampton/Bournemouth. Traction: 444/450/458/455/442/158 (Obviously don’t expect to see the entire routes or traction but I’d like to see any part of it) Would love to see extension to the GWML too- perhaps Bristol Temple Meads
My local line would have made a great route before all the goods yards were closed, the track layouts were rationalised and the stations replaced by bus shelters. I'm talking about the Oldham Loop, Manchester Victoria to Rochdale, Oldham and back to Manchester Victoria. So, to be of any interest, it would have to be set in the 1960s or 50s. By the 1980s it was just a couple of Pacers going to and fro, no goods traffic, nothing loco hauled at all. Now it's a tramway. That's progress for you.
(Just ordered them by which one came to my head first) West Coast Mainline w/ Class 390 and Class 350 London to Milton Keynes or more? (modern liveries and etc) Manchester Metrolink w/ M5000 Tram Altrincham to Piccadilly and Intu Trafford Centre to Cornbrook Metropolitan Line w/ S8 Stock and A Stock Amersham to Aldgate with the Uxbridge branch Chesham and Watford Branch as well.
Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester (UK) Merseyrail (UK) London Bridge to Victoria (UK) WCML (UK) ECML (UK) 7 Line NYC Subway (USA) Glasgow Subway (UK) North East Corridor (USA) These are in no particular order.
Any American route. At this point, I'm almost past caring which one it is!!! Alright, for the sake of the thread, I'll go with some iteration of the North East Corridor.
I would love to see 1)fife circle (my local line) class158,170 2) ECML Edinburgh - York class 800,91 3) WCML London Euston- Manchester class 390"pendolino" 4) Edinburgh - Dundee class 170,158,43
1 - anything Italian. 2 - anything French traditional (not high speed). 3 - any route featuring Thameslink and/or other parts of Southeastern's rail network. 4 - anything British modern electric (hopefully featuring different trains - like the Desiros) 5 - anything Swiss or Austrian (ÖBB or SBB CFF FFS). 6 - anything Spanish High Speed.
A modern take on NTP with TPE 68’s and 185’s. A loco DLC later on with a 142, maybe switch the 142 and the 185 around so that the 185 could sub for the 68 and the 142 brings stopper services with the initial DLC.
A bit of bias incoming! I would like to see a route from my home city of Lincoln, UK, preferably from Doncaster to Peterboro via Lincoln which is 69 miles. Away from the bias now... I would also like to see from: Sydney or Melbourne, Australia Netherlands: RandstadRail or something with the VIRM. Poland Belgium Cross City Line A route in the French Alps And other things, wayyyyy too many to list here!
Spain Rhoadalies de catalanya R1 barcelona to blanes USA NYC Subway 7 line North East Corridor UK Southern London Victoria/London Bridge to Brighton LNER ECML London kings cross to Peterborough SWT London Waterloo to Basingstoke

My current wish list: UK - London Victoria to Brighton and Lewes (Class 377, Class 387, Class 700 and Class 59). 1 Some historical American passenger route before the highways came. There are thousands of abandoned train stations in the USA in every little town (including my home town) some were preserved, some are just closed up, some are just junk. But you can see where the trains used to run through and pick up passengers. Most of the train track routes are now bicycle routes, gravel paths.. or hidden under highways. 2 Something in Romania, or eastern Europe.
