I have long ago developed the habit of putting a few bucks by every couple of weeks, so that I can avoid that guilty feeling which comes from spending a bundle all at once. Do Sony and Microsoft have the equivalent of a Steam wallet?

Xbox has it, you can add currency to your account via gift cards, I don't know if you can directly do a payment to add currency to your Microsoft account like you can for Steam though.

I would guess there is a similar system for PS, because how else could gift cards work? But I'm not sure.

I perfectly understand how you feel, there have been a few discounts and a lot of new TSW DLCs brtween January and February and I may or may not spent more then usual

Dang bruh DTG gotta chill with these DLCs, we barely got the announcement of the 465, clinchfield and now this?:o Nice to see the first Swiss route in TSW 2, and hopefully rivet doesn’t copy DTG in releasing routes infested with bugs (no offense haha).

Man those screenshots looks so great, they make me want to buy the route. I never brought a content from a third party dev but this route sure looks good. The Isle of Wight is going to be my next purchase once it’s on sale.

You all don't need to panic about the arosa line yet.Remember when rivet games started talking about IOW it was still many many many months away.O and don't forget skyhook games crane creek has been refered to recently as a near future release,so keep your credit cards on ice so they don't melt with all the use it's about to get.

In keeping with other DTG releases, which always use the German name (Not "Fast-drive-tracks Cologne-Aix").

Xbox has the rewards program, were as for playing games on game pass unlocking achievements completing challenges using MS products like bing or explorer say 50 times in 2 week you earn 2400 reward points.8000 points you can buy a £5 x box live credit to use in store.iv got £10 in there from dec+jan so the 465 will cost me £2.99 when it comes to xbox

Buy Rivet's DLC, because DTG's DLC is far more likely to be part of the upcoming yearly release bundles. Considering Clinchfield already made it to the TS2021 bundle, I wouldn't be surprised if it also became part of the next TSW bundle.

Third party DLCs rarely end up in any kind of bundles, and certainly never seen them in the 'default' yearly bundles.

They use the names from the country where the route and locos are from. And that makes it authentic.

Google translate for you @zawal.belili -
    "
In any case I want the US route more than anything and having already had the Arosa "on TS I already know how it will be ready.
I will also take it because it will be I hope 1000 TS places.
In view of the photos of Rivet, I think this road will be magnificent.
Really can't wait to ride it."

You claim to be serious about the realization of the Arosa line ... So forget in the screenshots and the promotional videos the Ge 4/4 II 628. Damaged on May 14, 2019 near Tavanasa-Breil / Brigels, its repair cost more than 1 million Swiss francs and it was therefore scrapped! : - ((((

No 1938 Tubes run on the Isle of Wight any more. Nor do Class 43s do the express services out of Paddington. Your point is...?

Which isn't a problem if the route is set in early 2019 prior to the accident.

It's possible that when Rivet sent their research team to study a Ge 4/4 up close and in detail, the one available to them was the one sitting in the shop, not those actively working.

Feeling with you, on the other hand, we could know this all was coming. I am seduced to buy HMA, SEH was on my wish list and I managed to skip LGV. The good news I I get a 3 Euro discount on Arosa for the inquiry Rivet submitted ... but times are hard. Elsewhere I suggested to give additional discounts to very loyal customers. Matt and Sam can say we do not need to buy it all, but it is easy talking for them, getting all stuff free.

I tried to not buy TSW2 because TSW1 basically made me give all of my money to Dovetail. I bought it, and now I'm going to buy the entire DLC catalogue and have no regrets, aren't I?

    Incredible photorealism!
But please improve the road of the last shot. Switzerland may be super clean but that street, without the slightest sign of wear, looks like plastic. And at the slow speeds of this line, it really stands out.

Arosa is the end of the line. There is a small station there, where you can shunt a bit. From Arosa you can go higher using a cable car. In Chur you will find a big railway station with both narrow gauge for Rhätische Bahn and route to Zermatt and normal gauge for several SBB routes.
The Arosa line starts at the station square and runs through the streets of Chur for a while. There are no further branch lines along the route. Once you have driven this route you definitely want much more of this .It is not very long, 27 km but the speed limit is 35 km/h so it takes about one hour driving there, stopping at a number of stations. Some trains are mixed passenger/freight trains so hopefully we will need to do a bit of shunting on the way.

Hmm, mixed freight/passenger trains? That seems very interesting! Wonder how the scenarios will be, and whether we will be having to shunt in the middle of the passenger service. IRL I bet a lot of people will be angry if the train has to shunt right in the middle of a passenger service haha.

Its the way railroading used to be, up until at leas the 1920s in the US and even after WW2 in Germany on some rural branch lines

This happens all the time on the meter gauge lines in Switzerland. For passenger trains, they will add or remove freight cars during station stops. Adding is done by the local switcher and if they remove one or more, it is just uncoupled since they put them on the back. I have seen this happen many times while watching cab ride videos.

Here is a link to the Train Simulator version (Not TSW2) of the Arosa line manual if anyone is interested. “While a standard route nonetheless, the approach to and from Chur is most unique. Over 2 km of the track outside Chur’s main station runs through the streets of the town itself, this is known as the Chur stadtbahn (town railway), and requires extra vigilance as you share track with road traffic and pedestrians. This entire stretch has been carefully modelled and detailed to provide a unique driving experience in Train Simulator.
I’m interested in this paragraph from the history section and hope we will have to also watch out for traffic and pedestrians while moving through the streets! Having to brake for either while driving would make for a very fun and different experience! The map included also gives a good look of just how steep of a climb this route has! 49EAFD44-E5D8-48A6-A353-7BE639E0D9BA.jpeg

There was mention of a shunting loco that used to move wagons at some stations on this route.Could there be any possibility that a 2nd loco could be included with route but details about it's just haven't been confirmed yet.

There may be another interesting feature (not confirmed), request stops. This means you only stop at a station if passengers want to drop off or enter the train. In TS this is impmenetend bij Thomson and Rivet for all RhB routes. Not sure if they can do this for TSW2. Also, with TS there is not much interaction with road traffic but signalling holds raod traffic and is co-ordinated with the traffic lights for road traffic. Looking forward to see if any of this implemented in TSW2, it would bring the level crossing design a step further ...

I imagine in the scenarios they’ll be varied pre programmed stops, in timetable mode it will be interesting to see how they handle this, maybe they’ll just randomly assign stops to each service so that each individual one is different, but pre programmed, or if we’ll just see the exact same stopping pattern with each run.

I suspect the latter will be the case, with the track signalling system for these stations commanding the stops, and no on board notification.

In the TS Bernia Pass routes they do the request stops at random, one problem is that the loading bar is not triggered at these stops so you have to listen for the sound of the doors closing to know when to depart.
