    Hi Guys,
Need some help here please. I am just doing the Class 395 Intro, no problems at the start everything going great, then after the second stage when you have to change the power options and head into a very long tunnel, I get all sort of Alarms going off, reduction of speed and grind to a halt. When I try and get her started again the acceleration is terrible, takes ages to even get up to 10 mph. I have even watch a few clips and nothing to help me. So please any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you went 15 kmph over the speed limit then tvm would’ve stopped you but there have been reports of random emergency belong around ebbsfleet intl so do not worry if this is the case

It sounds like after the power changeover (presumably to CTRL power mode) that something's going wrong and you're losing the connection with the overhead line.
When you do the power changeover you should be using the buttons to the left of the main view to change mode, and there are three yellowish lights up and right of these which show whether you have line power and whether the MCB is open or closed. Those lights should be on-off-off from top to bottom
I've had it once in that same place where this happened and I effectively coasted down into the tunnel and only realised I was coasting about 20 seconds later

Yeah, so did I, and then I probably clicked something somewhere and got the failure. It happens but I didn't go back and try to recreate

One question from me regarding the HS1 in cab signalling. When the TVM display starts showing a reduction in speed limit, how long do you have to bring the train down to the target speed? That has caught me out a couple of times. Do you have to get to the target speed within so many seconds of it appearing on the display?

Nope, just by the next signal you need to be within 15 kph of the new speed

As Alex above, slow down (or stop) by the next signal and you'll be OK
