This guy is also credited with the recent Class 89 and 142 DLCs. Maybe a 3rd party under contract or publishing through DTG?

Isn't he the same guy that previously went under the alias Reppo?

Clearly they realized there was room to charge customers a second time for the same product.

Which they'd not be able to do if it was actually good from the get go.

If they fixed the drivers side cab window and flipped the 3D model to the correct orientation. That would be acceptable to me as it would "look" right straight out of the box. All that would be needed is new textures and sounds and all would be grand.

But is that worth another 10 pounds?

    Potentially £17.

If the 4CEP is a penny under £30 (I am waiting for an AP sale to get mine as I am not paying that much) then I think the extra £10-£17 brings it to the same value but the AP Pack should fix all that is wrong with the DTG Class 60. I wonder if DTG has even bothered to read any of these posts or seen the videos mentioning the issues? Or are they just completely ignoring the feedback for the easy fixes and the mess will be left for AP to pick up the tab and give us what should have been standard from DTG? Especially the unsuitable VP185 sounds? Also there seems to be only a handful of reviews on Steam including mine. Although I only just recommended it because its a nice base pack for reskins (take a look at the recent mind-blowing work from BH Reskins) and then there is the AP Enhancement Pack that will make this pack right? This will likely be the final DTG add-on I will pay full price for because all future DTG add-on will be bought in the sales because one. I will NOT be taken for granted and two, I have an expensive model railway project to work on and its costing a lot for the boards and supports etc. Also there is the respect factor as well because DTG should not be blatantly ignoring customers that fund their business by buying their add-ons with trust.

Only one was required, that made my mind up, thanks but no thanks. I'll just use the JT version at least it sounds right.

Personally I would wait for an Enhancement Pack mate. Oh and a future Steam sale as well if you wanna stretch your money further! ;).

I only bought it a few weeks ago, glad I did now because I umm'd and ahh'd about whether to get the JT Class 60 or not but they are abundant here in South Wales so I wanted it for a.i. if nothing else, saying that I have driven it a couple of times and from a filthy casuals perspective it wasn't too bad.
